Another short hike
I went the same place I went last time tutt hill park/preserve I was going to go row but I've been having some health problems. Plus they raised the price, I got to test out My waterproof windbreaker as it started raining steadily during this hike. Otherwise the weather has been really nice here, it just recently turned crappy. I'm under alot of stress lately I had to cancel a dental appointment because of money problems, and not seeing the girl. So a scant 2 mile hike in Sioux Falls didn't really relax Me honestly. I was going to try to shoot a picture for this but My camera ended up being dead, like I said more content coming soon. On a side note I found a water cooler, which I left, however I was unable to find any disks for My friend.

I'm planning a hike
Tribute to Japan
I have always had some interest in Japanese culture, and have been trying to do some kind of tribute for some time sense I have nothing to contribute. I have always wanted a Japanese kite, these look really nice so I think it fits. I've been trying to find My way over to the Japanese gardens at Terrace park here and walk through, but haven't been able to. I remember I took a origami class over there as a kid and learned to fold a paper crane, but had to quit the class early because My grandma got in a fight with them. None the less, I've been disappointed at how people view these disasters here.

8/26/2010 Newton Hills State prk SD
This bright fungi caught My eye, this 5 1/2 miles of trail is quite a bit of fun but has heavy equestrian traffic.

4/1/2010 Stone state prk IA
You will also notice if You look on google earth that they are all dug into the hills and stuff, I like Sioux City better than Minneapolis. One reason is its alot easier to get to and your car probably won't break down on the way.You learn from this display that a hundred million years ago Sioux City was at the bottom of a inland sea. As the seas dried up it formed the loess hills, and for the next 50 million years the Sioux City area was a swamp. Also a sidenote(if I took the time to add one) would be that do to changes in rainfall the hills are disappearing, this is all part of a cool youth education program to protect the bluffs.
This picture(taken at a slant) marks the beginning of the hike which is called buffalo run trial.
Here's another obviously this was done in the early spring this place is part of a tall forest.
Stone state park was built as part of Roosevelts new deal, we found this interesting tunnel.
This view of Iowa is the enchilada after a lengnthy climb.
